Active Driving's basic course

Basic course in traffic safety. The day begins with a theory lesson including, among other things, active and passive safety, load safety, tyres etc. After going through driving positions the practical exercises begin. On the basic course we do a lot of work with braking technique with non-locking (ABS) brakes.
All the vehicles we use are equipped with ABS brakes which can be connected or disconnected. The participants practise simulated accident situations as well as experience the influence of centrifugal power on the vehicle.

Continuation course

This course is aimed at those who have previously completed the basic course and who wish to further develop their driving skills. The theoretical part includes more information and we increase the level of difficulty in the practical exercises which include, among other things, the "elk test".

Half-Day/evening course

Here we compress the theory and use two exercises from the practical part of the basic course. This alternative means we can accept 48 participants in three groups (morning/afternoon/evening). Other activities can easily be combined with this so that those not driving are taking part in conferences with everyone eating their meals together.

Environment training

Here we combine the basic course's safety thinking with theory and practice around how our behaviour can reduce the effect of driving on the environment. This training gives good knowledge on how, through simple means, the company's fuel consumption, and therefore costs, can be reduced which at the same time contributes to a cleaner environment.

Driving on slippery roads

We can also offer training in driving on slippery roads which we combine with the different manoeuvring exercises from the basic course. During the theory part of the course we especially emphasize tyres and different road conditions.

Winter training

Those who want to try skidding in real conditions should apply for our winter training. During the period December-March you have the chance to practise in several different types of treacherous situations which slippery road conditions can cause.
Winter training can e well combined with a conference where we can offer everything from a snow-mobile safari to outdoor bathing in a tub heated up by wood. Ask for a price!
